UC senior history major, Divya Kumar presents
The Whole Body Radiation Study and Its Legacy as part of the Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library/Henry R. Winkler Center for the History of the Health Professions Summer Lunch and Learn Series at 12 PM on July 13, 2022 in the Stanley J. Lucas Boardroom at the Winkler Center. Her talk focuses on the history of UC’s whole-body radiation studies of the 1960s and 1970s, their lasting effects on the community, and the recent attempts by UC students, calling themselves “Boldly Better,” to create a fitting memorial to the victims.
