Oracle Hollander beater from Lee McDonald and then calcium carbonate and internal size are added. Then the fibers are transferred to vats, with additional water added, where a mold and deckle are used to pull the fibers into a sheet of paper.
The Preservation Lab purchased this beater with funds from a "Third Century Research Materials" (2015) grant from the University of Cincinnati.
