This video demonstrates the process of preparing fiber for papermaking. In this video cotton rag half stuff (fiber that has been cleaned, partially beaten, and shipped in sheets) is further prepared in the lab's Oracle Beater by Lee McDonald. The cotton fiber will then be transferred to vats for sheet forming with a wove mould and deckle.
